Every morning when I walk through the school gate, I am reminded of why I chose to be an educator. There is an energy on this campus that is hard to describe — the sound of students rehearsing for a cultural programme, a group debating in the corridor, someone rushing to a lab with a project they are genuinely excited about. This is what a school is supposed to feel like. As Principal of R.K. Senior Secondary School, my priority is simple — make sure every child in this school is seen, heard, and challenged at the right level. We have over 2,000 students from Class 1 to 12, across Science, Commerce, and Humanities streams. Each one has a different journey, and our job is to make sure the school adapts to them, not the other way around. Academics will always be our core. Our board results speak for themselves, and our teachers work hard to ensure that learning goes beyond memorisation. But I have seen time and again that the students who thrive most are the ones who get involved — in sports, in the arts, in debates, in the kind of activities that teach resilience and teamwork. That is why our campus in Aliganj is designed to give students room to explore, with dedicated spaces for sports, music, dance, and more. I also believe that a school is only as strong as the trust it shares with parents.
